BENEFITS OF INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL & DOMESTIC TRAVEL

Benefits International Travel Domestic Travel
Accidental Death, Burns and Dismemberment.We will pay the insured a lump sum payment in the event of death, burns or dismemberment as a result of an accident Yes Yes
Double Indemnity. An amount equal the above benefits shall be paid to the insured who suffers from an accident that results in death, burns or dismemberment while riding as a fare paying passenger in common carrier (include taxi and buses) during travelling Yes No

Medical Evacuation & Repatriation. If the insured sustains an accidental injury of sickness while travelling and requires medical evacuation upon recommendation by AIG Assist or its authorized representative, AIG Assist shall arrange medical evacuation and repatriation and we will pay the costs incurred Yes Yes

General Exclusions

1. War (declared or not), riot, strike, civil commotion or any warlike-armed activities
2. Any loss arising out of any biological, chemical or nuclear warfare, atomic or nuclear explosion, burns or radioactive emission
3. Injury intentionally caused by the applicant or beneficiary, or self-inflicted injury or suicide caused by the Insured whether he/she is insane or not
4. Any injury as a result of the Insured being under the influence of alcohol or drug

Claims Guide

1. Contact your nearest AIU Branch or Agency to obtain the claim form
2. Simply fill out the form and return to AIU Claim Department together with the Insurance Policy and all supporting documents
3. Supporting documents include medical reports, hospital original receipts, police report, carrier statement, etc
