I've Lost my Ticket

Firstly don't panic

Depending on the type of ticket that you purchased we’ll be able to assist you in having it reissued.

If your ticket is totally unused and you’ve not yet left your starting point then your first point of call should be THE BRANCH FROM WHICH YOU PURCHASED YOUR TICKET.

In all other cases, please take a look at the information below for help in what to do next.Remember – if you are travelling on an e-ticket you don’t need a physical ticket and only usually need to print off a copy of your itinerary.

SATA Tickets

These tickets are reissued by STA Travel. You simply need to visit your nearest STA Travel branch or Worldwide Travel Help office.

They will take some details and contact your issuing branch to get a copy of your ticket. Once received they will then reissue your ticket for you for a fee not exceeding USD$50. It’s a fairly straightforward process that takes around 2 working days to complete.

BSP Ticket

BSP Paper tickets

These tickets are reissued by the airline. If you lose your ticket whilst travelling, you should contact the local airline office in person.

If you lose your ticket before you leave your home country, you should contact the branch of STA Travel through which your ticket was purchased.

 

Important Notice

In some cases it may not be possible to reissue your ticket. In this case it will be necessary for you to purchase a new ticket at your own expense to enable you to travel.

Depending on the circumstances surrounding the loss of your ticket (eg theft) it may be possible for you to claim against your travel insurance for the cost of the replacement or the cost of the original.
